A little overpriced ... but I needed 1 fast

I have been looking for a rotating display stand on which to display art sculpture. Most do not ship to Canada; this one does.I wanted something that would not require electricity in order to remove danger of people tripping over cords when on public display. This one has the option of battery or electricity. I haven't tried the battery yet but the electrical option does work. It is quite noisy but I don't think that will be an issue in most places that I will be using it.I also need it to be able to handle a fair amount of weight. It claims to handle up to 2.5 kg and I haven't weighed the items I have tried on it but I think that is very optimistic. It does get quieter and rotates more slowly with more weight so I think there is a "sweet spot" for the ideal weight.The turntable did not come with instructions so we had to figure out for ourselves how to put it together and how to adjust the direction and speed. The design is quite clever. I wish the construction were more solid; even so, I am ordering three more on behalf of friends who saw mine and want their own.

Swerves my purposes well. Wish it came in a black option at time of purchase; No worries, I can paint it.

Love that it spins the keepsake item that we display; however, it is rather noisy. We have since inplugged it and only let it spin when we possibly have company or want someone to see the keepsake all the way around.

Luckily I had some plastic tubing which fit exactly over one of the little peg-things inside it, which I was able to cut to get this thing to work properly. The thing on top just sits there... doesn't snap on or anything... and it took me a lot of time to figure out what I needed to do to get it to actually turn properly. As I said I ended up having to cut a little piece off of some plastic tubing I had to get the turning part to sit exactly flush with the top thing in order to get it to turn right. Also it had a bunch of weird red gunk inside it... also had to use my jewelry pliers when sliding the turning thing up and down into the right position before it would actually sit flush enough with the top part so the turning part would turn it.Very cheaply made... I'm not satisfied...

awesome, a little noisy by awesome. i use the low setting. wish it was a little easier to turn on. you have to be holding the table and the base firmly to turn it on or that table easily falls off, but no biggie. i have a mirror that's got to be perfectly centered and the on/off switch is a little togh, but a beautiful rotating stand

It looked used, had two different type of plug in accessories, was missing a turn wheel and there was grease all over the inside.Disgusted and disappointed.
