I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product, given the price. I had some concerns since some reviews stated that the turtle box was damaged upon arrival or simply low quality, but that was not the case for me. The box is actually coated with a nice, smooth suede material, as you would expect to feel with even a costly piece of boxed jewelry. My attached pictures do not give the box justice as the flash makes the lines on the shell difficult to see. The necklace is just as pictured. Since it is part of a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, I still cannot give input on the durability or the chain or the turtle on it.

I had given my 6 year old granddaughter an amythest pendent necklace for her sixth birthday. Her 3 year old sister was very interested in it and said she wanted one for her fourth birthday. I couldn't find the same necklace in Emerald color so I was very pleased to find this. Combined with the adorable turtle case it comes in, Penny will love it. I know it will probably get lost so this is a great price for something that will impress and please but not be around for long.

First of all, let me say that this pendant is not of the highest quality for those of you who are looking for something that is perfectly crafted. On the one that I just received, the gem for the turtle shell is slightly tilted sideways so that the right side of the "shell" does not meet the turtle body on the same level as the left side of the "shell". That being said, however, this pendant is very nicely designed with a green gem for the turtle shell and five small crystals for the head and legs. The pendant came in a fuzzy, turtle-shaped box (as illustrated), and was further contained in a rectangular paper box about the same size, for the one that I received.Although the pendant has some flaws, it is great for the price and is a neat little thing that children, teens, and young adults will surely adore.

this necklace i bought for my daughter, it her first actual jewelry item and it was a Christmas present. I really liked the little turtle and thought she would love it to and she did! the necklace was great but the box was all broken when i got it, the packing was not done very well to protect the item, thankfully the necklace itself was not damaged. The packing was just in a small plastic USPS bag, and should have been in something more protected, i had to find another box to wrap it in. otherwise, it was beautiful and very good quality for the price, and my 10 year old daughter loved it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for 5-year-old daughter. I was wanting to buy her a special necklace with her birthstone, but chances are it was going to get lost or broken like every other necklace she has ever had, so I opted for the least expensive one I could find. The necklace is very cute and looks exactly as it appears on the site. EXCEPT the crystal that makes up the turtle's head was set on its side. It appears to be attached pretty well, but I could have done a better job putting the jewel in myself. Now I know this was super cheap, that is why it got 3 stars. BUT even for a cheap necklace, the crystals should at least be set properly. I still plan on giving it to her. Either she will not care and the crystal holds, she will not care and it may fall out, or she may be upset and I may have to pry it off and glue it myself. It doesn't seem to be worth it to mail it in for an exchange.

I bought this for a friend who likes turtles. She is such a good person and really does help me a lot, so when I saw this, I knew she loved it because she opened it up in front of us and asked for help her put it on.Great product for price, or I would have sent it back. Shipping to Canada was fast.
