I brought the smart plug as I suffer with a pain condition someone in my pain group told me about the smart plug and at night-time I have to turn my electric blanket on but sometimes it takes a while to heat up or I have to keep it on high for a while so I brought the smart plug and you download the app and connect the device to the app and what you can do is set timers for things to come on so you can use it for anything really if you want to schedule to turn it on at a certain time you can set it like an alarm for everyday and it will turn ot on for you at that time or you can turn it on from your phone which also helps because sometimes is painful to move what I didn't know is that underneath you can actually connect a USB to it so I can also charge my phone at the same time. Although the USB isn't something you can turn on or off everything else about the plug is adaptable to what you want it can also work by voice control if you have an Alexa or Google.. I'm really happy with it and will definitely buy some more. Happy customer..

I bought it for my cat water fountain, to create a time schedule for the fountain to switch on and off.I wanted something cheaper this time as I have already one smart plug that costed a bit more, so I went for it.I wasn’t disappointed, it works really well and it is easy to set up, only thing to remember is to use 2.4ghz internet connection and to select the first electric outlet option in the app (which is a very intuitive app).The smart plug is also a night light, which I have also scheduled to switch on and off and it has a USB port, so ideally you can charge your phone during the night if you have it next to your bed.

I bought one to try an couple of months ago and it was brilliant. Simple to use, attached to my home wi-fi very easily. I've attached a lamp to it and control it by the app, which is also simple to use. The only negative was when I went to buy more, they had temporarily run out. Since then they've come back on sale and I've bought another 4! On the app you can set 'scenes' so with one button you can turn all the lamps on and off, very simple to put in. My wife now has the same app on her phone and was really easy to add her so she has the same controls. Will definitely get more!

It's OK, but you really need to get the positioning absolutely right for it to have a great deal of impact. I'd imagine a landing or hallway would be ideal, but I don't have the facility to use it in either of those places in my house, so it's a little redundant.

This is listed as two devices in your smart home - a light (good - you want to be able to set the colour) and a switch! Why did they categorise it as switch instead of power outlet? This makes it annoying to use with your smart home hub etc as it's in a different section to your other smart plugs.

I had to try quite a few times to instal & connect to Alexa but it worked & less bulky than another LED plug on here

Very nice smartplug, installed at my girlfriends house and paired up to Alexa. It looks good and it's well made, simple and easy to set up and use via app or alexa voice. Being used to control hallway lights.So far it's been faultless, which we really needed as my girlfriend is disabled and cannot reach the wall switch.Perfect product for the requirement.

Alexia does work with this plug, nice lights, easy app to use too but whenever we try and put the plug on to use via alexa or the app, the led light goes on but zero power to the socket.. For example if I want to charge my phone the socket won't charge it but light is on. Just going to use it for the night light feature as that's all that works.
