I love this! Just make sure you place these on a flat surface along with the cake as you're slicing through :). These work better than me using those wire cake cutters, very clean. The wire ones would always snag on my crumb (whether dry or moist).Also make sure you have a long knife in relation to the size of your cake and take into account that these take space from the knife so the cutting length of knife is lessened. You need that push and pull motion/sawing motion.I bought a 14" cake knife and with these, it gives me a 12" area to slice. So far I have cut 6" cakes and 8" cakes with no problem!

These are an easy way to level a cake or cut a layer in half. It makes it so easy. You just need a knife long enough to go through the cake. So glad I purchased these to use!

I just learn how to make cakes, this is helping me cut the cake easily, but the material can be better.

The clamps that hold the levelers on the knife are not strong enough and have smooth surfaces. The levelers slip off the knife while cutting.
