Good product
My ex used to be in charge of the plants in the house and the garden. She used to use the wrong fertilizer on my Green Giants and she scorched a bunch of them. Then she tried to blame it on the neighbor saying he was intentionally spraying Round Up on our trees. Turns out that wasn't true she just used fertilizer meant for other plants. Since I switched to the RIGHT kind my trees have grown by leaps and bounds. I've saved a lot of the scorched trees and things are looking really good now. Plus you get a good workout hammering the fertilizer spikes into the ground. My advice is to get a rubber mallet if you don't already have one and use that over a hammer. The spikes are solid by they do tend to break easily. The rubber knob they give and a rubber mallet helps keep the spikes in one piece.

No good
These things are useless. They did nothing.

Fat round spikes not sharp enough
The “spikes” are too fat with a blunt point. The red cap that is supposed to be used initially while tapping it into the soil is round and the spikes are flat. Not a good fit to hammer them. Afterwards you’re supposed to hammer directly. The blunt “point” doesn’t break the soil. This after “well watering the tree”! They smash to smithereens! Too difficult to use!!!

EASY TO USE AND IT WORKS!!
These make the task of fertilizing my fruit trees so easy!! My 2 year old trees are already producing fruit. A tree that is OVER 5 years old and NEVER gave a peach ia now covered with flowers. Hopefully, I will finally get peaches.

BEEARE, Angry, they can't give us our trees back
These are deadly to baby Oak trees. Acorn trees will die within a week if you use these. I did not know this. Ours were thriving for 2 years. Within 1 week after putting these in the ground, they were dead. I've always wanted Oak trees. I am disgusted.

Put around my fruit trees.
Used these once before and it was very good for my peach tree. Made a big diferene in the fruit for this past year. I applied late fall and the the fruit was more, and the size of the peachs were larger for this season. The tree was also much healthier. Was easy to put in the ground and the price was very good. Will do it again.Have now added two apple trees and will see how this works this spring with them.

Did nothing at all
I used these around a few bushes and they did nothing at all. Also, unless your soil is super soft, they will break apart when hammering them into the ground.

Best value!
I use these every Spring / Fall for shrubs, bushes, flowers (different types for different garden species). They are the best! Very happy/ healthy gardens, shrubs and bushes!!! I use about 60 - 2 times a year - closely following directions = perfect results! Tip: try to set spikes in wet ground - after a moderate rain - much easier to put in!
