More expensive than some alternatives but the quality is better. If you are building exterior projects, this is a very good choice.

These screws give a good bite when screwing into treated lumber. The screws seat well and seem to have a good finish coat of paint on them. I found that about 3 to 5 of the screws in the box are defective, and that is not awful at all. Quite remarkable if you ask me. The screws are higher in price but I see that everything has gone up in the past few years. I'm using these to reinstall a fence on my property and will go through about 8,000 in all. So far I'm very pleased with the outcome.

When locking on the wood, the wood isn't likely to crack.

These screws drive in very smoothly and are not bothered by the weather.Cost a bit more, But fantastic !

they are screws what can be bad about them

Get these instead of the equivalent sold at home depot. The home depot ones had 1 in 10 screws with a head that was deformed. Haven't had a deformed head with these. They're also cheaper than Homey D.

The price on these Deck/Fence screws was better than Lowe's or Home Depot. I used them for attaching dog eared pickets for the six foot wooden privacy fence I had installed. They have self drilling tips to eliminate the need for predrilling holes. They have a 4-layer coating that provides superior rust and corrosion protection. Torx drive with driving bit included.

I used these to put up a fence segment, and they work good. They do match green wood pickets well, so they are almost invisible, though probably a decision i'll regret four years from now when the fence weathers to black. I think the little investment in screws instead of nails will keep me from having to go around my fence and hammer popped nails every now and then.I managed to use almost the entire box of screws without having one bad or stripping any, so I think that's a win. Closest I came to this were too nails that were stuck together by their coating, but they came apart ok.There is a bit inside the box, but I didn't find it until I finish most of the box. I am not sure what they expect, to dump out the 5lb box to find the tiny bit? They should just tape it to the inside of the lid or something.

Great screws, these are tough and reliable, never had a problem. Made me switch over to Torx bits, and happily so. Can't go back to Philips/Robertsons ever again, unless forced to.
