Grizzly Industrial H5610 - V-Block Pair w/clamps 2"

The blocks seem to be of good quality. The clamps however, fit very poorly on the blocks. The threaded shaft was loose in the clamp threads. The threaded shaft was too thin and distorted under pressure. When I tried to cinch one down on a part the clamp cracked at the shaft hole. The manufacturer needs to provide a better quality clamp to go with this block.

Accurate

The blocks are okay but the clamps are very low quality. They are made from some kind of non ferrous alloy which is very brittle. I contacted Grizzly customer service letting them know about the issue, and they responded asking for pictures and more details about the clamps. They can't replace it because from the pictures "they can see the clamp was dropped at some point and there are no casting flaws", like the clamp is some kind of precision instrument which can't withstand any shock. It's just pathetic.
