This was a gift for my 10.5 yr old daughter. She absolutely loves it. She loves taking it on our outdoor adventures. Lots of functions as well.

Got for my kids 3 and 6 so they would have something to play with when we went camping. They had a blast looking at rocks and things through the microscope and blowing the whistle. Even the adults were entertained playing with them, well worth the money!!

I ordered a pair of these and both kids are very excited to use them. Overall, it's a nice outdoor toy with fun features and without any sharps or knives. So far, the microscope is the favorite function.Oddly, on one of the two, the quartz clock will set but doesn't keep time. Seems like a total fluke, so having it replaced.Update: clock works as expected on the replacement. Great fun.

This thing is great! I bought it for my son and he loves it. My only gripe is the telescope function requires a little bit of finagling with the eye piece to focus. Other than that it’s great!

I was looking for a tool for my 9 year old bug collecting son for Christmas. I wanted something with a compass, microscope, and a few other things. When I saw this I thought it was awesome and it had everything he wanted plus some. When I ordered it and received it, it looked ver nice and everything seemed to work just fine. When he opened it for x-mas he just loved it because he had a microscope and a telescope too. He also went a little overboard with the whistle.... lol Well it didn't last very long. The light died just two months after he received it and the clock never really worked. I would set the clock for my son and by the next day it would be back to 12:00 blinking. I am dissapointed with this purchase. It's now in a bin on his shelf just waiting for our next goodwill pickup.

My 10 year old loves this! The telescope and magnifying lens are really good quality, the whistle is your standard, annoying whistle, the compass works and you can set the date and time. Definitely recommend!
