Exactly as described! It does leak when down or upside down, but otherwise it's fine. The straw is durable but soft, and the insulation works perfectly! I love that it came with labels so you can out your kiddos name or your contact info in case it gets lost. The design is beautiful, I got the purple unicorn one, and the outside is very smooth. The handle is durable as well. Perfect for my 3 year old.

This water bottle is perfect for kids 2 and up! The handle makes it super easy to carry, and it doesn’t spill! It keeps ice a decent amount of time, and the color is true to pictures. My son has used this bottle for 2 years straight between school and summer time!

The thermos is fabulous, so much so that I'm going to buy the larger size one as well. It does not leak, and absolutely keeps my drinks cold. It's easy to clean, simple to assemble and I love it. The product woks when used as intended and directions for use are properly followed. Common sense will tell you that if you haven't put things together properly after cleaning it will leak, so do it right before you fill it, which means taking an extra one whole second to give the straw a tug to make sure the knobby part is fitted properly, and it won't leak. Common sense also says that this product does not have any sort of self sealing straw. I literally can not believe that some people can't grasp this concept and leave bad product reviews when it is a fact of the most basic common sense. Even for people who have never used a thermos product before, the product page has CLEAR instructions for INTENDED product use, and ASSEMBLY instructions. Neither are hard to read or do. If you read the instructions for assembly and use before you buy the product you will know what you're in for. You'll know that for the cold ones you should follow the instructions for maximum efficiency, which means properly chilling the product, and you'll also know how to properly assemble the item. Granted, continued use over time will mean that the soft parts (straw, etc) will age and be less efficient over time, just like anything else does, again.. basic common sense. Honestly, a child could put this together properly and use it, I know because my niece comes over ans swipes it for her own use often while visiting. I just tell her to make sure she chills it for a few minutes and tug on the straw to make sure it's properly in place. Even she can make it work as intended without it leaking. So, if you have common sense and put the extra second into ensuring it's being used as intended, you can ignore the negative reviews. By the way, I LOVE the purple color, it's beautiful, and I wish the larger one came in the same dark violet color, I'll settle for the lighter purple variant though. :)

These bottles are perfect for kids on the go! These bottles feature a handle for easy carrying, a secure cap that opens with the push of a button to prevent straws from getting dirty, and a secure screw top lid that prevents big spills. The outside of the bottle is made of an insulted metal material that keeps drinks cold for hours and a perfect canvas for those sticker collectors out there. The straw is comprised of two parts; 1) silicone mouth piece and 2) plastic straw attachment. The one issue I’ve come across with the thermos brand cups are these straws for 2 different reasons; 1) if the silicone mouth piece is not entirely in place (can be difficult- kids cannot do it by themselves) it will leak all over the place especially when toppled over and 2) if your child likes to chew on straws, this silicone won’t last long as it will shred to pieces and become a choking hazard. Thermos is probably aware of this though as they have a separate straw replacement product which we have had to utilize- this is going to be more economical and environmentally friendly because you are only replacing a part of the bottle instead of an entirely new bottle. These bottles do deconstruct into 4 pieces for washing and are dishwasher friendly. Overall these bottles are long lasting and designed with kids and families in mind.
