This automatic feeder worked well for us for 1 and 1/2 years. It was great to be able to go away on weekend trips & not worry about hiring someone to feed our cat. It has a battery backup so it was very reliable, even during power outages. Our cat seemingly learned to tell time & would sit in front of the feeder around meal times waiting for it to dispense. It did sadly stop working after about 1.5 years & I am researching buying another one (possibly a different brand), hoping it'll last longer. Overall I'd say it was a good purchase for this lower priced feeder.

This has been working great for over a year now and seems to still be going strong. It is still on the first set of batteries too and they are currently at half strength. This makes portion sizing and setting up to 4 separate feedings a breeze. Our Yorkie eats fine out of it and the recorded message is great so when we are away from home for a short period of time it hopefully gives some comfort hearing my voice. I've never connected it to an outlet because power surges can easily damage the electronics in devices like this and plus like I mentioned above the Duracell batteries in it have lasted over a year now. Overall I'm very pleased and recommend. I noticed the price on it has increased a lot since I caught it on sale for about $30 back in late 2021, and definitely got my monies worth. Don't think I would pay over $50 if I had to replace one, but that depends on what's your price on convenience in this busy world and making sure your fur baby gets fed on time.

We got two of these, in the hopes that it would help make feeding time more consistent for our dogs. I've set the clocks to precisely the same time by controlling the power to the device, and then painstakingly setting the feeding schedule by pressing the buttons on both devices at exactly the same time. Even if I was off by a second or two, they should serve the food within a few seconds of each other.Every day, the space between the two devices reaching the scheduled time increases by several seconds. It's been a few weeks since I re-synchronized the clocks, and at this point, the "slower" device is about 3 minutes behind. One of the dogs is fully fed by that point, and sitting with the second dog waiting for the food to come out. This means we need to constantly sit and watch them at every meal time to ensure that whoever eats first isn't stealing the food from the second dog.It's such a simple mechanism, but I think that the microcontrollers they're using to handle the scheduling are probably just cheap, so there's no consistency in the clock speed. This product would be 1000 times better if there was a way to plug one device into the other, so that the first device signals to the next that it's time for a feeding... or otherwise just synchronizes the clocks.I'm probably going to give it another few months, and then I'll just hack together some solution to make this thing work how it should.

This is the second WOPET product purchased and i HIGHLY recommend their products.This particular product allows you to program the dispenser to specify how much is given and when. This dispenser has a A/C power cord but also a backup battery which is beyond important. I have had this particular model for about a week and it exceeds expectations as always. I now feel confident I can leave for the day and know she is being fed periodically.The shape has a modern look, blending in with my home decor and does not look bulky. It has the see-through food compartment so i know when I need to refill the food. Personally, I dont know why you would live without it.I have a cat, who like typical cats loves loves to eat. She loves to eat so much, that she makes herself sick. This product is a heavenly. It allows my cat to be fed in little increments throughout the day allowing her to keep her food down, and my house to remain cat puke free which is a major plus. : )Since I now have two of these I also have one for my dog! its versatile with a plastic wheel piece on the inside that allows both large and small pellets to flow through.Finally, if i haven't raved enough about the product.... I have to give the customer service 5 stars as well. They get back to you immediately if you have any troubles setting up the product etc. So fast it's like emailing a friend. WOPET also has an interactive Facebook where all the members gab, talk about the awesome their products and share pictures of their pets using them haha.If you had any doubts on what auto pet food dispenser to buy, stop researching now. It was a little time consuming getting the time and schedule set. We have a 55# Springer Spaniel so we had to set the feeding four times per day to get the correct amount of food for her. You can only use the minichunks in the feeder, other food size is too big and will get stuck in the feeder. The microphone on which you can program a message to your pet is loud and scared the hell out of us the first time it went off. There is a battery back up which makes it nice. We didn't have the batteries in at first and set the schedule, the feeder got unplugged, but to our surprise we didn't lose all of the settings when we plugged it back in, the time was off a little so we had to adjust that otherwise it still worked great. We got this feeder because we are gone a lot and we have 20 year olds at home and we were not sure that the dog was getting feed all of the time. It is nice to have that peace of mind now.
