DAB with cassette recording function? Search over.
The media could not be loaded. This Aiwa music player had a ridiculous price for the red version. When it arrived, the soft sheen red and black took away the 'pain' of its cost. It-is-lovely.Recording radio, and CD has a soft 'white noise' sound in background. Not so with Aux in' recording.All these have a crisp and clear sound that isn't intolerable.Playing radio, CD, Aux in' still has a crisp, clear sound but with right level of bass. Very VERY nice.Functions are uncomplex.The remote control is a fantastic accompaniement with batteries considerately included too!A music player very worth investing in and you have a happy feeling when you look at it. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Very good boom sound
Problem - software update - does not work. Probably, none available. Wrote to Aiwa who are in Spain did not reply on this.Do not use software update. Or, you will not be able to close it. Then unplug.Besides this, fine. Old booklet which i got - cannot read it. Paragraphs highlighted in dark colour! Somebody tried to be too arty.Aiwa sent me a download for a new one with no highlights.Using Aiwa for over a year now. Learnt from the instructions manual. Great so far. Email for Aiwa at back of manual. Aiwa staff responds.Using old cassettes too.Pensioner. UK

Easy to use Bluetooth easy to connect, tape CD player and USB all easy to use.
Wanted something I could use in different locations that was easy to transport and light

Cassette Player very poor zero stars.
Looks ok, dab, fm, cd, mp3 and Bluetooth are ok but cassette is so awful, it doesn’t even represent the cheapest of cheap back in the 80s. Forget about recording completely. 3 stars for radio cd…

Savings made by buying from Amazon returns?
Unfortunately this player arrived with a number of faults which ultimately led to it being only useful as a paperweight. Caution advised for meagre savings on purchase price.

Bloody terrible
Got this as its a make that's been about for years so thought it would have a better chance of a quality make! Well what a mistake that was. Dab radio will not come clear and goes to pot if you turn up the volume. Cd player will not work at all, blue tooth will not connect. I don't have any cassettes on hand to try but don't hold out any hope for that or the usb. The menu is a mystery as I'm unable to access it. You get random words coming through the speakers which is freaky and very old school! Makes me wonder if this was a return that got sent back out? Because if this is the state of there products how the he'll are they still in bissness. As a minor issue the power lead is a European 2 pin plug so we were running it on batteries which is good it would be used most of the time. Hope this is of help to you it is now going back to amazon.
