Nobody likes polyester for the summer, we prefer linen and cotton. This dress is a poly-rayon blend, so it's not what you think when you see polyester. It does not feel hot at all. It feels cool and breezy, like you expect from rayon. It feels like your favorite tee shirt, easy breezy to wear.I am 34C, 30 waist, 36 hips, 5'0 tall, 120 lbs, inverted triangle shape (broad shoulders) with post-menopause waist/belly. I ordered this originally in the small, and it fit and was flattering, but was a little tight, especially across the back, and waist hit up high at bra band. So I reordered in a medium and the fit was better. The waist hits lower (more around natural waist) but is still comfortable, and the V neck hits lower but is still modest/ no gaping. The length is just below the knee.It's a really nice dress, especially for the price. I think it would suit a lot of body types, including those who have more hips than I have; for those of you like me with narrow hips it gives the illusion of hips . For those of you that often struggle with waists being too tight, try this dress. The waist is not too tight at all, it's very comfortable, yet flattering and gives me a waist and an hourglass shape, which I don't have.Also has pockets and for those of us who are short sometimes pockets are placed too low -- that is not the case here.I hope it holds up in the wash and doesn't pill. So far so good. Happy with this purchase.

This is the perfect go to black dress. Can dress up or casual wear. And it has pockets !! Fits true to size. Comfortable

I normally wear medium to large. I went with large, fit perfectly. Very comfortable. I found a few loose strands of string. I cut/hand stitched to prevent unraveling. Needs to be washed/dried delicate cycle. Ordered the grey blue but appears more like a dark bluish lavender -very pretty .

The dress is very pretty and I really like it. I have really debated on returning it because there are no pockets!! In the description of the dress it said that it had pockets!! But there are none!!I am keeping the dress because I like it so much. It seems well made, is very comfortable and the fabric is very smooth and silky. But still, there are no pockets!! Obviously, I’m very disappointed because I love pockets in a dress! I would change your description of the dresses that have no pockets!!

This dress fits nicely even if you carry a bit more weight. The material is light but not see thru. So happy I bought this for my cruise!

I bought this dress in a few colors after getting the first one and deciding I liked it. It's very flattering across the butt area; falls *perfectly* there. Also, I love the way it fits across the bust area. Some dresses of this style are too low cut so you have to wear a cami underneath. This one has full coverage, which I like.I don't love the sleeves. I'm not a fan of the flutter sleeve overall, and these are a little on the short/not much coverage side. Otherwise, this dress is a good casual choice for work/church, etc. I'm 5'5' and length is perfect, just below knees.Recommended!
