I got these for my daughter in law when she had misplaced what she had been using for years. She is a dermatologist and not a hairdresser, but has a natural talent for cutting hair, She had cut her husband's hair, he's an EENT head and neck surgeon, the hair of her 2 sons, one a lawyer, the other a hedge fund investor, for many many years...she says this clipper holds a charge very well, and she can use it in any area without being bound to electrical outlet. I gave this to her last Christmas, this is May. She just found the set she had misplaced for so long, and says there is no comparison to the 2 sets. This beats her old favorite cutter by a mile and she wouldn't give it back for anything!

I've always preferred Wahl since I started cutting my own hair since the late 90s, and after my last set of Wahl clippers (I've went thru a few over the years) were getting old I started looking for a new set. I'm generally a very picky person on items like this and was a little apprehensive about ordering a set off line because I was worried that these may be too light or even flimsy (my last set of clippers were), but I decided that I'd give them a try and if I didn't like them I'd just send them back.In short, so far I love these. They're definitely not flimsy, nor are they heavy and bulky like some of the corded ones are. As soon as I opened the box I was very happy with the look and feel of these clippers. It's going on 4 months since I purchased them and they're great. I like to keep my hair short on top and buzzed/tight on the sides and usually cut my hair every week or so. With using these that much, I do make sure they are cleaned and blades oiled after every use. (I ended up ordering a 4oz bottle of Wahl Clipper oil because the little bottles they include usually don't last long.)I did see some of the negative reviews and was sorry to see that others has had bad luck with these, but so far I'm very satisfied. And after nearly 20 haircuts so far, and with what it would've cost to get it cut by a barber, I do feel they've already paid for themselves easily. With proper care I'm hoping they hold-up. If not, I'll return to update my review.

I spent around $60 for these clippers, and I’ve cut my own hair maybe 4 or 5 times. It’s been well worth the money considering how expensive haircuts are, at least here in California, $20 the cheapest but barber shops are like $40+. It’s paid for itself already. Cutting your own hair is hard but even then anyone can just put on a 4 or 6 guard and shave their whole head for an easy haircut.They’re great clippers, the charge lasts a long while and it has this matte material around it which helps you get a solid grip. I’ve had mine for over a year already, and it still works great.

Been using this weekly for over a year, and it is still going strong. Cordless works way better than having a cord attached. The only improvement I'd suggest is that the clipper's own lever to select how close the shave is needs something to lock the setting in place (right now the setting can be pushed and moved easily so it is kind of useless).

I've been cutting my hair now with this for over a year, and it is working great. I like that it came with everything needed, including clipper oil. I did buy a separate set of larger clip guards from another seller here on Amazon, which fit this clip or great. That allows me to use this to cut my hair longer, up to 2 in.The battery life seems very good. I can do an entire haircut on one charge easily, and could probably get two haircuts, but I always charge it after it a full haircut.Very happy with this purchase.

My biggest regret is that I didn't do this years sooner! I am no pro, but I can give myself a decent haircut with this. I've traveled to South America and Europe with this. I can get several uses before it needs charging. When I was in Argentina, it held a charge for the 3 weeks I was there - twice a trimmings. For a novice like myself, I would highly recommend this!

Got these to replace a cheap corded set since we cut our own hair. Was well worth spending the extra money on a quality clipper. The fact that it is cordless makes using it so much easier. Very well built. Fairly quiet for clippers.

We had to replace a Wahl trimmer that we had for many years and settled on this product rather than a corded version.My wife said she was quite pleased with the ability to move around without having to keep repositioning the cord. I'm guessing you can get maybe four haircuts from one charge. Three to be on the safe side. It seems to me to be quieter than the corded model. It charges quickly and cuts well. WE would recommend from home barber. If you worked in a shop probably stick with the cord or you'd have to own several of these to get through the day.
