As we own just about every book in the series, I can confidently say that this one isn't my favorite but isn't the worst either. Basically, Pinkalicious loses a tooth- but not just any tooth, her sweet tooth! Nothing tastes sweet anymore. She asks the tooth fairy for help but instead other mythical creatures (an elf, Cupid, etc) try to help her. She is pretty ungrateful and rather bratty but ultimately realizes that sweetness comes from inside and things improve once she starts being sweeter to people.Overall, a solid read but not the best Pinkalicious story available.

We have a few of the Pinkalicious book series and my daughter loves the stories. This story is a bit of a surprise as to why it's titled Silverlicious, so it's kinda fun for them as its a little different from other Pinkalicious books. This story goes through many holidays so it might also be a good one for those who are learning about or just love Holidays.

Better than ordering through Prime! The box is easy to open and not wasteful. The book was brand new and half the cost of Prime. Thank you!

We just love this book. This is the cutest twist on being polite. Each page is just a delight. Our other pinkalicious books have been fun, but we never get enough of Silverlicious. We've read this one the most of all. The illustrations on each page are just delightful and the humorous twist on words in the letters is a treat for the parents and the kids. Of course if you are anti tooth fairy, easter bunny, cupid, santa clause, etc., then this is not the book for you. This book just brings smiles to everyone in our family.

If you have a little girl 2-7 years old that loves girly things - pink, pretending to be a balerina, having tea parties... this book series is for you. I get asked time and time again to read and re-read these books. Not sure how long the author can extend the series, but probably as long as little girls go crazy for the stories. Would start with the flagship book Pinkalicious.

We have all 4 of the large "Pinkalicious" books. This one is by far my most favorite. I wasn't quite happy with Pinkalicious' ("Pink") behavior in the first book - I thought she was a bit bratty. Goldilicious wasn't really that great either. Purplicious was ok, but Silverlicious is awesome!Pink loses her tooth (and she thinks it's her sweet tooth) and writes to the tooth fairy. She tries to stay up but misses the visit. The tooth fairy (Tootheetina) is too busy to come, so she sends Carlos Cupid. When Pink wakes up, her room is decorated like Valentine's Day and he leaves her red hots candy. Pink doesn't like the red hots and complains with another letter asking for something sweeter - a totally ungrateful act. Tootheetina can't come again and she sends more holiday characters to take her place. It's fun to see how Pink's room is decorated when she wakes up each morning. Finally, Tootheetina does show up but teaches Pink that the only way she can get her sweet tooth back is to be sweet herself.So in the end, this is a "sweet" story about how having a sweet and kind disposition is better than being ungrateful and unkind.

I myself have difficulty achieving true affinity with the heroine of this series, but my daughter loves them so what the hey. (Pinka)licious is rather less pleasant than usual, and fails to appreciate the efforts of various nocturnal creatures to suit up as the tooth fairy. Nuff said.Caveat Emptor: we received a 4th printing, which has several facing pages double printed from elsewhere in the book, which makes the book unsuitable. Amazon is sending us a free replacement, I asked for another printing if possible. Parents, check the printing and make sure you have a readable copy before your 30 days are up.
