When looking for a carry holster you need to consider multiple things; gun fit, gun security in the holster, ability to draw quickly without catching, concealability and comfort to name a few. This holster does a few well, and a few poorly. Using my Gen 3 G17 I can say the fit is fine giving me the ability to holster and draw my weapon without any issues. Gun retention is good, the gun says in the holster securely when I bend down without any fear of it coming loose or falling out. Ability to draw is fine and somewhat clothing dependent. Overall the holster works great for what its designed for.The comfort factor however is where this holster gets a couple stars knocked off as I just couldn't find a comfortable way to wear it. I could wear it just fine, but if it's not comfortable you just won't want to wear it. Being a woman, its important to be able to defend yourself and if I end up leaving it at home because it's uncomfortable then there is no point in it. It's not a size thing as I've carried a full size double stack P226 comfortably many times, but this holster just has some hard protrusions on the body side that just don't wear well. I might try to stick some adhesive backed foam or felt on the body side to see if that helps, but out of the box it is not ideal. I purse carry most of time but when in pants I do waist carry and unfortunately without some modifications I don't see myself using this holster much due to the protrusions.Beyond those issues, it is a well made holster, with two clips for fitting. Like other reviewers I was surprised at the lack of instructions, or even something as simple as a QR code that led you to online instructions or videos on how to switch clips or adjust the fit of the holster. That being said it's a $20 holster so you get what you pay for, which in this case is a decent holster with some comfort issues.

He said -Perfect fit, no piece or part prevented the normal wearing of clothes, belt, etc. It was simple to retrieve the firearm and put back in place. Quality made and the plastic (?) didn't feel like it was about to snap or break at all. Happy customer!

While the holster does its job, and even comes with the second belt clip seen in the picture to make it a more universal fit. There are some serious flaws that can not be overlooked.The design of the body facing side is rather rigid and if you are someone of “larger” body habitus you will have the side of the holster cutting into you on multiple occasions. This holster does not include any tools for changing the belt clip or for adjusting the retention.Where I am most concerned though is that there are no instructions or informational inserts that come with this product. As a former RSO and shooting coach the fact that this does not come with any mention of how to properly adjust the retention system, how to swap the belt clips and in this day and age, it doesn’t clearly state not to attempt to fit the firearm to the holster or adjust the retention while the firearm is loaded and the chamber is clear, just doesn’t sit right with me.It’s bad enough that it just isn’t comfortable, but the lack of any sort of information, instructions, or reminders of the basic knowledge for handling firearms is bordering on irresponsible.

My photos show an inert training device (not included) with this holster. Designed for Glock 17 right hand, Inside waistband (IWB) carry positions (including a cross-draw appendix orientation), Kydex holster material is rugged and form-fitting shaping that helps ensure firearm retention. Has slightly raised body channel to accommodate taller front sights (should fit sights just over 1/4-inch taller than slide body). There are 2 tensioning screws below the trigger housing area that allow for additional retention strength adjustment, and 2 screws on belt hook that allow for cant angle adjustment from -5 to 20 degrees (see photos). The muzzle end of the holster is partially closed. For inexplicable reasons, supplier includes an additional non-metallic belt clip, but I personally prefer the strength and secure “spring” retention of the metal belt clip.At price point of $21 USD at time of writing, I find this to be a good value.I hope you found my photos and comments to be beneficial in your consideration of this item.

The good news is that the G17 fits well in the holster. There are screws that appear to adjust tightness of the holster, but no instructions on how to do that, or anything for that matter. Some directions or instructions would have been appreciated. The installed metal belt clip was nice and seemed to be strong, and there was also a plastic belt clip that was included, but I didn't try yet. And as others have mentioned, this thing is not very comfortable. When carrying IWB as I traditionally do, the hard angles of this holster really jab me, to the point where I probably won't use this very often.

Of course, the G19 is shorter, but that just means the entire slide is protected.This is a smaller package of various Kydex type holsters I have available, I like it because it is just sleek and compact. It also came with another clip for a slightly different fit... as in if we wanted to carry without the clip hanging on the outside of our belt, or if we had a thinner (like a dress belt) on.Very nice holster, fits well, and so does the G19 in it!Five Stars. That extra clip was a nice touch!
