Perfect for punch needle embroidery. I purchased another needle in store and it was garbage.This one is awesome and was recommended by nearly every single punch needle artist and blog. They all use this or an Oxford. I’ve made a few designs already with this needle and it’s a dream. Easy to thread with the included threader, the whole for the yarn is perfect size to keep decent size yarn flowing smoothly. It’s strong and durable. I use this with monks cloth from joanns. Easily punches in and out. Very very happy with this product. Definitely order this, especially if you are new to punch needle embroidery!

Works well with medium weight yarn, not so good for bulky yarn

It busted as soon as I started using it. The little nub that keeps the needle in place broke off.

This is a good size for big yarn, I guess? I can't use it for anything w the small thread I have. I'll probably give it away to some who makes rugs?

I am super crafty and I could not get this to work. I watched videos and read the packaging. Couldn’t do it. Had to return.

Using the wrong fabric so it breaks through but probably works well if I had better material

This is my very first punch needle. It’s super easy to use and good for yarn on monk’s cloth.

The spring mechanism that allows the needle to be set to different depths is actually just very annoying because it springs out of place while you are using it. Also, this needle is VERY large gauge (like needs large/ thicker yarn and cloth gauge), so just keep that in mind if you are hoping to use it for punch needling with regular yarn and regular monk's cloth. I will be saving up to purchase a better quality needle.
