Diamond Shelled Can Walnuts, 8-Ounce

It has become hard to find walnuts just for eating, not cooking. My grocery doesn't seem to have them so I tried these and have been pleasantly surprised. Walnuts have not been a favorite, but they are high in the Omega 3's. In the past I have found walnuts too dry tasting to enjoy unless mixed like in a fruit salad, however these Diamond walnuts are wonderful and I can eat them by the handful with total enjoyment! I use nuts as a protein source for my meals and snacks and am ecstatic to add these walnuts into my diet!

Date was April 2018 but color was very dark, THEY WERE NOT CRISP, or fresh.It's very pecular, maybe MY particular shipment got overheated or something, asother reviews here said they were fresh, but I have enough experience, with this brandand others of walnuts to know I just wanted to throw them out.Vendor here had no hand in lack of freshness, not their fault, just saying.

I was disappointed with these walnuts. For the price, I had expected better taste and longer shelf life. The "best before" date is 24 December 2017.

They are great on my second container. But this time some of the plastic lids were missing, A minor problem but the lids are important. Thank you.

Love to eat them for a snack. The can keeps them fresh. Walnuts lose their fresh taste if not kept in a tight container. I am not concerned because I eat them all before they can change.

I am happy that these now come in canisters so they are always on hand for baking. They stay fresher than the bags even when I place the bags in ziplock bags.

I loved the walnuts. I was just under the impression the container was going to be a metal can which I wanted but it turned out to be cardboard instead. It still served the purpose of containing the walnuts I was just disappointed that it wasn't metal.

Perfect...use them all the time so we are on reorderfrom amazon.
