OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner with Odor Blasters, 4 Count

Great and super easy to use in my front-loading washer. It’s amazing how it gets it clean and nice smelling, too.

If you have a stinky washing machine and/or if you feel like your clothes aren't smelling fresh after they're washed, buy this product because it fixes that.Some comments re: the folks giving this a low rating because:1) The product clumps in your HE washer's liquid detergent dispenser - Well, per Step 2 on the package (see my photo), this is a powder cleaner that is supposed to be dumped directly into the drum. Don't worry about it falling into the little holes. It's gonna be okay; it's gonna do what it was designed to do. If you put it in your HE washer's liquid dispenser, you didn't follow the instructions, & it's gonna clump up and not work as advertised.2) The product's odor - well, the drain pipe on my HE washer smelled like raw sewage (wife's words) when I started a wash cycle. I thought a "washer cleaner" was a little silly (aren't I cleaning it every time I run a load of wash?), but I have seen the light. After several years of use and literally hundreds (if not 1000+) of washes, the drain pipe smelled like rotten eggs and my wife wanted to call a plumber because the smell was so bad she thought our house's drain was backed up. I do the laundry in the house, and I'm cheap, so I thought I'd try a cleaner first, and this OxiClean cleaner resolved the odor AFTER ONE TREATMENT. I use dye- and odor-free detergent, so I'm not a total fan of its fragrance (side note: do y'all who use detergent with scents actually LIKE smelling like Gain or Tide all day, like it's some sort of cologne/perfume? This confuses and fascinates me, but I digress...), but it goes away after a wash or two. My washer no longer smells like sewage, and we didn't have to hire a plumber, so I'm grateful for an inexpensive and effective fix.My washer stopped smelling like American politics after I used this product. In fact, it went to having no odor at all, which is what I wanted. I followed the instructions and used it once/week for 3 weeks just to ensure I truly got all of the stank out, and I believe I have, so I'm thrilled. Not sure a once/month cleaning is necessary, since I went years without cleaning my washer, and because I'm cheap, but I think I'll probably use this seasonly/quarterly to prevent "THE SMELL" from returning to home. If you finish reading this review and still put this powder cleaner in your liquid dispenser, you should run for office because you'll likely win... but I won't vote for ya.

I have used this product to clean my washer which seems to sometimes have buildup due to my fabric softener. Upon using my washer was sparkling clean with a fresh smell. This helped with the productivity of my washer as well.

This works great for that odor washing machines develop. Used as instructed very easy to use. Will order again.

I have purchased this OxiClean washing machine cleaner many times. Unfortunately, excessive use of any detergent or fabric softener can lead to buildup and odor. This cleaner effectively removes that smell and buildup. I highly recommend it!

Having well water with a softener treatment system we have dealt with washer funky smell occasionally and decided to buy a washing machine rub cleaner. Researching all the products this OXYClean rated well so we bought it. The first tub wash using this honestly did have stronger fresh scent of the cleaning product. It works. The residue gone from top loader, stainless tub shines, 4 pack is a great value and using every 30 days I noticed that second cleaning with OXYClean has the fresh scent but was no longer excessive in laundry room being first floor. Probably just had really bad buildup with mildew whatever lingers in washing machine barrel.If you have a sensitivity to scented products this will probably not work physically for you with that intolerance. However if you don't have allergic/scented perfume type issues this product is great.First cleaning with OXYClean was amazing to see there was residue to wipe after initial 1st use. But 2nd & 3rd did not. OXYClean works fantasticicly for monthly tub cleaning when the washing machine begins getting THAT smell. Following instructions for use and using monthly it has worked for our needs. Especially as saying residue buildup. Really satisfied with cleaner and continuing to buy use for washing machine tub use maintenance.Especially when washing pet bedding, blankets,heavy soiled work, garden clothing from everyday family life.

I have to admit these did eliminate the awful musty smell from my washer. However it left behind a strong odor of the “fresh scent” used in the product. So I can’t be sure if it’s actually eliminating the source of the mustiness or just masking it with a stronger scent.
