I recently used the Nu Calgon Inc 429075 Condenser Coil Cleaner and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. This cleaner did an excellent job of removing dirt and grime from my condenser coils, making them look almost new. It is highly effective and easy to apply, and I noticed a significant improvement in the efficiency of my HVAC system after using it.However, there is one major drawback: the smell. The cleaner has a very strong and unpleasant odor that lingers for quite some time after application. Works very good

Basically, like an electronics cleaner. Same idea. Works 100%. Have 3.5 ton central air unit, 14 years old. Nordyne unit. Moved into house 4.5 yrs ago. Prolly never been cleaned. Last year I set temps at 70-72 degree range. This year, I used this cleaner 1st time ever. Now, I only need to set temp to 73-75 degree range, same weather conditions. I am impressed. Price is TOO high however. I will use a spray foam and garden hose from big box stores, if price gets more ridiculous. This is a clear spray and cleaner. NO need to remove fan. NO garden hose. NO messy foam. NO disabling electric supply to unit. Just spray and walk away. A HVAC tech introduced me to this. He said to get additional benefit. Spray a day before you know it may rain. Prolly for the rain to wash any further accumulated debris. Beware, 1 can is BARELY enough for my typical 3.5 ton AC central air unit. So plan accordingly. Now. Keep the price LOW. High reviews are NO excuse for price gouging. Thank you.

My refrigerator was running a lot, so I pulled the bottom panel and found the coils just filled with dust. I did research and that said I should get a dryer vent cleaning kit. The front set wasn't too bad with the kit but getting the second set was nearly impossible, let alone the 4th row! Further research was needed.I found recommendations for this item and decided I'd give it a try. I did put newspaper under the coils before I sprayed and I do recommend it. I'd also recommend doing this in the summer when you can open a LOT of windows. While I didn't find the smell offensive, it is definitely sharp and lasts quite a while. It does recommend well ventilated areas, and it means it.Does it work? Exceptionally well. Coils were spotless after only a light bit of spraying. Did hit a couple of areas a second and third time but the coils came out looking (I'd assume) better than new.Highly recommended, especially when you can open a lot of windows!

I used this on my LG window shaker. I used the whole can. It seemed to run out quicker than expected but did a great job of cleaning.

Holy crap. This thing stunk up our kitchen for days. Days. It might have done its job and been easy to use, but wow. I'm not sure I could ever use it again. My nose may curl into my face. It's a smell so strong it creates a headache. If you're going to use this, use it outside.

Works well for the money value

this stuff might work, if you purchase 10 cans or so.I used it on my 4-ton condenser, coils on 3 sides..managed to go quickly while spraying and got half a side a little cleaner. Do not buy this, it is a joke how little spray time you get and how little of dirt it removes.At the end I sprayed my condenser coil down with tire shine foam and rinsed it with water, all clean now. The tire foam can is enough for a 4-ton condenser coil and cleans well, also at a fraction of the cost.
