This product is what I’ve been looking for. It smells good, it holds well like really well with a little shine to it. My new favorite hair product.

Firstly i want to say i hope they never change the formula. I have natural hair that is really wild hard to tame, no amount of brushing or gel would help the stray hairs. A few years ago i started using eco styler gel and it was the one product that i was able to use consistently with no build up or flaking and it actually held up until recently. Im not sure if the formula was changed but it no longer works for me. A cousin of mine put me on to RED ONE which i was hesistant about because jam type gels never held my hair, but boy was I wrong. It does what it says and holds it down, no more looking like i was playing in a school yard at the end of an 8 hr shift lol. I do suggest spraying water for moving around the hair to do a newstyle because it actually sticks. And if your using it for everyday use like myself i suggest washing your hair at least once a week because its greasy but it gets the job done.

Works great on type 4, shrinkage-prone hair. I love my hair and how this product works with my hair texture; a little water, leave in cream, and lay it down with RedOne Gel - great! Lasts all day long. I do need to apply daily for the same hold, wave, and shine that it gives me, but no build-up, dry look, or flaking seems to absorb in like most products on type 4 hair. I like the ingredients as well. Will continue to buy and try different container colors (not sure if it makes a difference).

Good hold and felt comfortable to wear but it smells good in the container but this one“ lilac “ Doesn’t smell good wearing it kinda smells like B. O. the strawberry one is much better...
