It’s YOUR book where you write YOUR story
To the person who wrote this comment: “This is not a book, it’s lots of pictures and empty space.”I’m not going to tell you that you are wrong or judge you. I’m just going to share my perspective. This book is the opportunity for you to write YOUR book. There are thousands of wise books with words of wisdom in every sentence. But that wisdom is not YOURS, it’s the author’s wisdom or in many cases the wisdom that the author just took from other “wise” books. You read them and say: “that’s so true But it’s not your wisdom, it’s some one else’s perception of what’s right for them. This book encourages you to write YOUR story that can be different from mine or some one else’s . IMHO that’s the whole point.Peace :-)

Highly recommended
Felix Buchwald has wonderfully demystified shadow work. Having lived as stoic for 78 years I found his explanations of emotions beautifully simple and empowering. For example: sadness = I miss a connection; anger = this isn't OK; fear = this isn't for me. I have been working for two years to begin to feel emotions that I have never allowed, that I repressed in order to function in the circumstances I found myself. An important revelation for me was the fact that: "Our shadows are not always about darkness and hidden fears. They can also be about talents, passions and dreams."Between the insights and the journaling prompts this book provides an accessible means to embark on shadow work.

This book can change your life for the better, if you let it!
This book is an incredible art piece woven together by an author who wants to assist others in becoming themselves and live in harmony with their authenticity. Zach does an amazing job of bringing Carl Jung’s shadow work research, theories, and concepts into a fun and easy read to help you explore the depths of yourself. I’d go so far as to say Jung would be proud of his works being molded into a book to help any type of person haha. All in all, I have used this book to look deeper within myself to feel more at ease to be myself. I needed this book more than I thought

In depth workbook using Carl Jung’s philosophy
This is an amazingly comprehensive workbook that helps you dive deep into yourself and understand the hidden depths of your psyche. I love Carl Jung’s philosophy and the author did an incredible job at breaking down the teachings into digestible segments that you can move through at your own pace to be sure you fully understand the concepts. I highly recommend this as a tool for spiritual growth. Grateful for the work that went into creating this as it’s truly helped me so much.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I've been on the hunt for a good Shadow Work journal for awhile now. There are so many options it's easy to get lost in the choices and wonder which ones are good, if any. Then by happenstance I saw a post on Reddit about this book, and thought it was perfect timing. I finished the first section, and I absolutely love it. It's exactly what I wanted. It's not merely a bunch of blank pages with prompts. Instead, the author includes well researched descriptions, explanations, and history, providing a solid foundation for your inner journey. Shadow Work can sound daunting, but with the right guide, it'll free your spirit. This book is that guide.

Insightful and compelling!
I love this book! The author's depth of knowledge and engaging writing style make this journal & workbook easy to dive into and hard to put down. This book is a great experience and resource for both newcomers and seasoned shadow workers alike. One treat for me is the author makes great use of metaphors, which function to give us a deeper "felt sense" of what is being said. I was able to grasp the concepts and understand them without having to wade through a lot of wearisome prose. And the journal prompts are irresistible!

Did the Author Use AI? Seems Like It
I ordered this book based on my fascination with Jung’s work, combined with Amazon’s positive reviews. So far, it feels like components of the book were created with the assistance of AI, including the graphics. On top of that, there are misogynistic overtones, and there are just as many references by non-Jungian self-help gurus as there are from Jung himself. In short, it’s a chaotic, catch-all, new age fluffy mess. Simply peppering a book with the word “Shadow” or Jung’s quotes do not warrant it as “Jungian.” I also noticed there are no academic credentials about the author published within the book’s pages, so who knows what his actual qualifications to teach Jungian self work actually are.I’ll give it one more day, but honestly, the book is difficult with which to build a connection (and thus, engage in the workbook aspect), deeming it worthless for me. Two stars because I feel marketing it in the guise of Jungian psychology is disingenuous, as well as the likely use of AI, but for those who seek a guided transformation via questions and journaling, it may be helpful.
