I never submit a review to Amazon unless the product is an outstanding example among the competition or one to avoid! In this case, this is the second Beurer Nebuliser I’ve bought so I can keep one in the bedroom as well as one near by in my home. On many occasions, I’ve had urgent need to use it and it’s never let me down at all. As any Asthmatic or Healthcare Professional will attest to, asthma attacks can come on suddenly and be life-threatening, hence the vital importance of having an effective, reliable and easy to set up device at hand. This model can be set up by a young person with very little training.In point of fact, I have recommended this make and model to my GP practice as the best home Nebuliser currently available, without paying extra for the name. Excellent Nebulisers such as this are expensive to buy, but this one is quite reasonably priced, comes with all the equipment you’ll need and details of where to obtain spares (it’s advisable to purchase a pack of spares in case bits get lost). So if you’re after getting a Nebuliser either for yourself or another, this one will fulfill the expectations. As ever, medication pods shall need to be supplied by your GP/Asthma Nurse but this is a simple matter of taking a prescription to the Chemist.

Ok I suffer bad in cold weather and when very stressed last Christmas I had major chest infection my doctors surgery loaned me a nebuliser machine as I did not want to go to hospital hence to say it was a life saverI bought this machine before Christmas just in case as loads I knew were suffering this morning I have used it for first time I have to say that yes its heavy and noisy but it WORKS !!! Lets face it its a fantastic price Beurer GmbH has stood for innovative products in the health and well-being sectors for over 96 years. Starting in 1919 and being German it means qualityI am impressed and happy with product it saves me calling paramedic or doctor when I need nebulising so I am happy and I feel more confident as I since my husband died I have been on my own and have a dog. This machine is a great backup at least I know I can walk my dog in freezing weather and not land up in A&EIts an added tool to managing severe asthma etc a backup toolThe only thing I wish it had was enough room to put the plug away but apart from that its solid and superb price

First one failed after 12 months and had to buy another. quickly for my wife..Nebuliser worked finefor the year with regulad fiter changes as instructed and the 2nd one is the same...But if you live in the UK the agent for the manfacturers up near Wigan..does nt or cannot answer to phone as there is a 5 year warranty on the machines..Still working on it..

My grandad has COPD and asthma. His old nebuliser stopped working after years of faithful service. Being as it was December and his chest was really bad, he needed a replacement nebuliser fast. This one seemed to tick all the boxes. Ordered around 7pm in the evening and it was here the next afternoon.My grandads old machine only had a mask with it, whereas at the time of purchase, this did not come with a mask only a mouth piece. Unfortunately his old mask was not compatible with this machine. He gave the mouthpiece a try and honestly, this was actually better for him.With the old machine and mask, his chest would ease a little but not significantly. With this new beurer machine and mouthpiece, his chest would become loose and his breathing would improve significantly after just one treatment.This beurer machine seems more powerful than his old machine, and using the mouthpiece seems to encourage him to take deeper breaths of the medication. This does cause him to cough a little mid treatment, but the difference in the sound of the cough compared to pre treatment is very noticeably improved.He has had this machine now for nearly 2 years and uses it on a regular basis. In this time he has not once had to be admitted to hospital due to his COPD. This machine has made a massive difference to managing his COPD, and the fact he has had no hospital admissions for nearly 2 years proves this.The machine is very simple to set up and use. The parts can be easily connected and disconnected for cleaning purposes. The power cable has a reasonable length, but I do feel it could maybe be a little longer. The only con I would say this machine has is just how noisy it is. It is very loud whilst is running, but considering the difference that it makes to my grandads condition, the level of noise is irrelevant.All in all this machine has made a massive difference to my grandads condition and quality of life. Especially at the time when he was told to shield and covid was rife. A hospital admission during those times could have been deadly for him, and this machine, along with medication helped to prevent that. Honestly this machine has been a literal life saver and I would highly recommend it!
